I’m a 24 year old product designer with a bit of an unconventional past. Coming out of Smith School of Business at Queen’s University, my background had been in business with a speciality in Marketing & Psychology.
I've grew to love design after various side projects, Hackathons, and start-ups I’ve worked on in the past. But what really drew me into this field was my experience working on my start-up Squired - a university admissions mentoring platform that connects high-school students with university students for mentorship and advice on selecting the right school.
It was a moment of realization for me that a product I created has a real effect on the lives of people just like me, those simply trying to make the right decision for their future through a rapidly changing world.
I’m interested in translating complex business problems into meaningful, understandable, but above all, human experiences. My journey has been driven by a passion for understanding how to create solutions that not only meet business objectives but also bettering the lives of people in the process through thoughtful and innovative design.
Fun fact about me, I’m also a foster parent for rescue cats!
